What i learned about writing through the presentations

In the past week we learned about writing through various presentations that our class members gave. They spoke about Interactive Writing, Sitton Spelling, Kid-Writing and a few others. Through these presentations i learned about various techniques that teacher's use in the classroom to help implement better writing and reading in their classroom. Some teacher's use journal writing to help their students read and write better. While other's implement a spelling program to help with that. I can't say there is one method that I absolutely love but there are a few techniques from each that i will take with me into my own classroom.
