What I Have Learned This Week
When this week was over I took a deep breath and said "finally!" Every day in these new classes I feel like we get so much new information, projects, papers ect...to do that it can sometimes be overwhelming yet very informing at the same time. In every class i learn something new, something I didn't know the week or even the day prior. Something as simple as how to include a Geography into a different content area lesson you are planning to teach. Or even to a more "high-tech" thing as I like to call it for myself such as learning to take snap shot of a picture on a computer then attaching it into livetext...I'm still working on mastering that! I believe as each day, week, and month goes along I will learn even more in each class. Some will sink in easier, while other bits of information will take awhile to get a grasp on it. All in all it will be quite an experience grasping everything as once!

21st century classroom
What do I think a 21st century classroom looks like?
-I think in a 21st century classroom one will see various forms of technology throughout the classroom. From the uses of computers, or even Ipads in some schools, to whiteboards in front of the classroom. Children will be emersed in understanding, comprehending, and understanding math and reading. Besides the teacher helping them with this, there will be many books around the room, and fun computer games students can play to master these skills. During the day i would expect to see various stations and centers set up throughout the room so the students have a more hands-on approach to learning the material. The teacher will also be very hands on with student learning. With curriculum and state testing becoming more and more emphasized as the only focus in school certain hours will be blocked off for the focus of math and reading, and little time set aside for history, science, geography ect...Every classroom you walk into will be different from the next but these are just a few things I believe one can see when stepping foot inside a 21st century classroom.
